FOUNDATION ISSUES

As a registered professional engineer working in this field for 20 yrs, I have studied, designed and analyzed foundation systems. Many people think install piers or piles and your problems are solved. I hate to disappoint you. In some cases yes it is true, it worked because of the layout of the structure. You simply got lucky. Drainage is usually the issue and must be corrected after you repair your foundation.
